our gentle way of capturing every moments
Photographs That Feel Like Home
The quiet in-between spaces —
the soft gestures, the fleeting interactions, the parts of family life
that happens naturally when no one’s watching.
That’s where the best stories live.
Sunday Stories is our way of honoring them:
the quiet laughter that fills a room without effort
the late-afternoon hugs,
the messy laughter,
the tiny rituals that hold a family together.
These moments matter.

Some kind words
“We’ve always been awkward in front of cameras, but this was the first time we truly felt like ourselves. The session felt more like spending a slow afternoon together than a photoshoot. Our kids were running, talking, exploring — and somehow the photos captured all the quiet, honest moments we didn’t even notice happening.
We didn’t want perfect photos; we wanted real memories.
That’s exactly what Sunday Stories gave us.”

Family sessions typically run for one hour, which tends to be the sweet spot. It’s long enough to allow for a great variety of images, but not so long that it feels overwhelming for little ones (or partners!). Plus, the novelty of the adventure, especially during an outdoor session helps keep things light and relaxed, taking the pressure off everyone.
Extended family sessions go for about 3 to 6 hours.

The simplest answer is to wear what makes you feel comfortable and most like yourself.
Examples of what to avoid: too many of the same kind of pattern, one super bright colour in a sea of neutrals, big brand names across clothing or characters on children’s clothes. My aim is for the focus to be on your faces not your clothing.
For more tips and examples, check out my detailed post Help on choosing what to wear If you’re trying to coordinate a larger group (without feeling too matchy-matchy), you might find this post helpful: What to Wear for Extended Family Photos.
